Angel Tree Gifts for Community Lutheran Ministry’s families

We ask for your help in making this Christmas a little happier for a child or adult living in the neighborhood of Community Lutheran’s mission on Joseph Avenue. You can do this by taking an Angel Tag off the tree in the Narthex and purchasing a gift(s) from their wish list. You will bring joy to someone’s heart and a smile to their face.

Please sign your name on the tablet next to the tag #. Gifts (unwrapped) and the tags should be returned to PLC by Sunday, December 18th.

Our come home for Christmas will be a potluck dinner. Please bring a casserole or salad to share. DESSERT AND BEVERAGES WILL BE PROVIDED. We will also provide table services. Operation Christmas Child is coming! Let your first Christmas box be a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child.

NEEDED: Crafts and baked goods for the KLS Election Day Craft and Bake Sale,
Tuesday, November 8th.
Please start thinking about this event (and maybe even crafting and baking)!

We will need volunteers for setting up, selling and taking down.

6:30pm Treaters start: Dress in costume! Refreshments and fun activities!

Please sign up at the visitor’s booth in the foyer to have your portrait taken for the new Church Directory. The appointments will be scheduled for November 1st, 2nd, 18th & 19th. Sign up by October 16th. Everyone will get a $25 gift certificate that can be used for a FREE 8X10 portrait. No purchase necessary, though you can buy additional portraits! The Church Directory is FREE. We are excited about this! The directory will help us connect names with faces, and is an ideal outreach tool.

All church members, guests and members of the community are welcomed to attend these classes.

The next Adult Information class begins on Sunday, September 18th @ 7:15pm.
This 10-week class is required for new membership at Pinnacle Lutheran Church
