Pastor Homan
My name is Rev. Martin J. Homan, and I am currently serving as the Intentional Interim Senior Pastor of Pinnacle Lutheran Church and Preschool. I will be serving as the pastor for Pinnacle Lutheran Church for the next year to two years. I have been a pastor for twenty-eight years and have served as an Intentional Interim Pastor for the past fourteen years. While I am here at Pinnacle, I will be serving in all the usual ways a pastor serves plus I will be assisting Pinnacle prepare for a new future with a new pastor.
We have a number of things going on here at Pinnacle. I will be offering the Healthy Congregations workshops designed by Dr Peter Steinke over the next few months. Our Thursday morning bible class is on the Cross and Community. On Sunday mornings, I lead a bible study on the Interim process.
The Church Council has established a Transition Task Force. This Task Force will work with me as we work through a congregational self-study to prepare for a new future with a new pastor.
The Church Council and the Elders will be recommending to the congregation that we participate in a revitalization process. This process is part of the Transforming Congregations Network. You can click on the phrase, and it will take you to the site.
